The First Step is Tough (A Short Poem)
When does one change?
Why do people live with mistakes they have done?
Why does one blame others, then introspect within oneself?
Life initiates with expectations,
Unfortunately, life is not a linear equation. (1)
When expectations are not met, one’s ego gets an abrasion,
An auto-immune response to rejection is a denial of the situation. (2)
One persists, then cajoles to change the eternal damnation,
When efforts don’t yield positive, it furthers the frustration. (3)
Some continue with retraction living under false hope & fictitious imagination,
Whilst, for others this frustration, leads to a deeper revelation. (4)
Inner strength overtakes fear, leading to motivation,
However, taking action, and taking the first step remains tough with the mind still under anticipation. (5)
Things further go Southward with no helping hand in sight leading to desperation,
Finally, The First Step is taken, which is felt like liberation. (6)
With The First Step being taken, the Universe itself moves forward removing desolation,
Thus Siddhartha Rastogi says, Courageous, futuristic, fearless First Step is the Foundation of any creation. (7)
